CargoBox provides reusable moving crate rentals and related delivery and pickup services. This page is maintained by CargoBox to explain how we handle the personal information you share with us when you book a rental, contact us, or visit our website.

Booking and contact details you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, delivery and pickup addresses, rental dates, package selected, and any notes you add to your order or contact form.

Account information when you sign in: email address and authentication identifiers from the sign-in provider you choose (for example Google).

Agreement records: the signed rental agreement, the version of the terms you accepted, and the date and time you signed.

Basic technical information: device type, browser, and pages viewed, collected to keep the site running and to diagnose problems.

To schedule and fulfill your crate rental, including delivery, pickup, reminders, and customer support.

To send transactional emails such as booking confirmations, signed agreement copies, delivery and pickup reminders, and replies to your inquiries.

To maintain records of signed rental agreements and resolve any questions about an order.

To improve the website and our service, and to protect against fraud or misuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with service providers that help us run CargoBox — for example our hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers — and only as needed to provide the service.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of CargoBox, our customers, or the public.

Transactional emails (booking confirmations, signed agreements, delivery and pickup reminders, support replies) are sent from a CargoBox sender address and are necessary to operate your rental.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential messages at any time using the link in those emails.

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and keep the site working correctly. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We keep booking and agreement records for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with our legal obligations, and resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account information by contacting us.

You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep.

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted connections and access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to keep your contact information up to date.

CargoBox is intended for adults arranging a move. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
